Fuel Piping

Installation of aboveground tanks. All pipe was 316 grade stainless steel and x-rayed.  Quantico Marine Base.

Installation of above-ground fuel tank at University of Maryland, College Park.

Set day tanks for backup generator.  Tapped into existing fuel oil lines and installed single wall socket weld pipe to day tank.  National Institute of Health.

Installed three miles of underground fuel piping and aboveground storage tank upgrade.  All welds were radiograph tested under strict weld tolerance.  NSA Generator/Tank Farm Upgrade.

Installation of numerous fuel tanks and fuel distribution upgrades throughout MTA fueling stations.  MTA Baltimore.

Fabrication and installation of double wall fuel piping with leak detection from underground fuel tank to generators on roof.  Installation occurred during home occupancy. Numerous facilities throughout the DMV area.

Installation of fuel tank valves in existing system FOS.  Urbana Technology Center.

 

Chiller Plant Construction

Thomas Johnson High School Chiller Plant

Fannie Mae Reston Data Center.  Installation of two 800-ton chillers supporting live Data Center.

Sterling Semi Conductor Data Center.  Installation of three 600-ton air-cooled chillers.

Frederick Memorial Hospital. Installation and prefabrication of piping for new chiller plant.

Oakdale High School  Chiller Plant, Boilers and AHU’s.

Installation of two 250 ton mag bearing chillers at Fannie Mae 3900 Campus

 

High Pressure Steam

Fort Detrick. Prefabrication and installation of HPS heat exchanger.

NIH Building 3. Performed High Pressure Steam Distribution upgrades.

Fort Detrick USAMRIID.  Installation of clean steam generator for animal laboratories.

Fort Detrick USAMRIID. Installation of 2,000 feet of stainless steel piping from clean steam generator to AHU’s.

Removal and installation of four boilers and 7,000’ of steam & condensate piping at two PG County Schools.

 

Miscellaneous Metals 

Wilcom’s Welding has been performing miscellaneous metals fabrication for the past 15 years. The majority of the steel fabrication is performed in our fabrication shop. We provide hot dipped galvanizing and powder coating. These services include:
